Baltijos Lizdas
About
Baltijos Lizdas is a Lithuanian non-governmental organisation that engages communities in nature protection and sustainable energy. It pays particular attention to communities that value tradition and feel a close bond with their homes, families and surroundings, and seeks to combine cultural heritage with the needs of today.
Our cooperation
In 2026 we started a joint project on a moderate, community based climate and environmental policy. In the spring we held the regional discussion series Aplinkos dialogai (Environmental Dialogues), talking with local communities, businesses and municipalities about the balance between nature protection and economic development. The series led to the study Moderate Climate Policy: Why the Future of the Planet Matters to Us and What We Will Do About It, presented in autumn 2026.
