Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)
About
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is a German political foundation close to the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). It promotes democracy, the rule of law and the social market economy and has more than a hundred offices worldwide. In the Baltic states it works through the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Baltic States office.
Our cooperation
We have worked with KAS since the Institute’s first months in 2023. Together we run training for young politicians and party members, the regional discussion series Hannibal ad portas (2024), Kalbam politiškai (Let’s Talk Politics, 2025) and Demokratijos tiltai (Bridges of Democracy, 2026), international conferences such as Not Only Putin: Russian Culture and Imperialism, and expert discussions on German and NATO policy. KAS also supported the Institute’s book Politikos atodangos: mitas, autoritetas, tradicija.
